SRMIST offers admission to 13 undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including specializations in a distance learning mode. - Distance BA (English, Journalism and Mass Communication): You must 12th standard from any recognised educational board with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Distance B.Com (Corporate Secretaryship, Accounting and Finance, Information System and Management): Students who are interested in enrolling in BCom offered specialisation should have passed 10+2 with min of 50% marks or its equivalent from any approved educational board.
- Distance BCA/ Distance BBA: Applicants must have passed 12th or a diploma, with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects from any recognised board or its equivalent.
- Distance MA (English, Journalism, and Mass Communication): Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum 50% aggregate, with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects.
- Distance M.Com: Should be a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised University.

Bachelor of Business Administration is a 3-year programme at SRM in distance learning mode. The curriculum of this course includes subjects such as principles of management, human resource management, services marketing, operations research in business and so on.
